Session 1

Introduction

• Leadership is not taught in school
• Leader versus manager

Self-knowledge & self-analysis (personal leadership)

• Ofman core quadrants: principles and practice (2 qualities).
• Describe yourself in one sentence, what am I naturally strong at?
• How could that strength become a pitfall?
• What do I have in me that I can still develop, the biggest challenge?
• How could that challenge become an irritation?
• Practice - simulation

Session 2

Feedback

• LSD: listening, summarizing, deep questions
• Style: Communication = information and attitude
• Actions: connecting communication - basic concepts (the 4Gs)
• My leadership behavior: What am I good at? What is my pitfall? What do I need to pay extra attention to so that I can adopt a positive leadership style?
• (Update of chapter Self-knowledge & self-analysis)
• Practice - simulation

Session 3

Leadership & building teams

• Building performant teams
• Lencioni: importance of mutual trust
• The 5 pitfalls of teamworking and how to overcome them
• Healthy conflict over artificial team harmony
• Practice - simulation

Session 4

Physical, non-verbal leadership

• Standing strong with soft power (strong back, soft front)
• Being grounded
• Head-heart-belly relationship, physical authenticity and role model
• What exactly is “charisma” and the relation with authenticity (do what you say)

Wrap-up

• Follow-up of the result based on personal improvement points
• What is improving now, what remains difficult and what is my proposal to tackle this
